TCA Plugged in

Plugged IN is our new dynamic online program for 4th grade - 12th grade.  Customized and meaningful curriculum is developed for each student.  

TCA UnPlugged

TCA UNPlugged is our innovative, on campus program.  PK-12th students attend Monday-Friday from 9-2pm with before and after school opportunities.  

Project Amplify

Project Amplify is a pre-college program designed to equip college bound students for success in the transition to college .

TCA is a homeschool which serves as an innovative learning center for diverse PK-12th grade students.  Licensed teachers create curriculum and support the homeschooling experience for parents on campus or online.

The mission of Tidewater Collegiate Academy at Virginia Wesleyan University (TCA) is to facilitate the development of global citizens equipped with 21st century skills ready to make the world a better place.

  2. Each student is exceptional, designed for their own purpose; therefore, they need a course of study that is meaningful for their individual goals.
     
  3. Teachers, guardians, parents, and community members are facilitators and resources that guide, encourage, and inform student inquiry.
     
  4. Learning is about growth through experiences that can happen anywhere, anytime with reflection.
     
  5. Every student deserves a safe environment to learn to be their best self.

TCA Foundation is a 501c3 created to ensure that all families, regardless of background have access to exceptional education. All donations made to the foundation directly impact our students and are tax deductable.
